Paul Heitlinger, Principal, Verizon Ventures: Paul joined Verizon Ventures with a track record of launching businesses and entering new markets for companies large and small in the technology, media and finance industries. He brings over 15 years of experience gained as an entrepreneur, product manager, strategy and technology consultant. Prior to joining Verizon Ventures, Paul was with

Verizon Digital Media Services where he managed the launch of live streaming services supporting major Media & Entertainment clients such as ESPN and Verizon FiOS. He was also a lead negotiator on complex partner and vendor deals, and undertook due diligence on strategic acquisitions to enable Verizon to enter new markets and launch new products. Before Verizon, Paul founded and then sold a consumer-focused digital media company, worked for Citigroup, was a strategy consultant with Ernst & Young (then Cap Gemini) and IBM Global Services. A native of Australia, Paul has an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Information Systems from Monash University.


Urs Cete serves as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments, L.P. Mr. Cete joined the Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments in 2006. He serves as the Principal and Head of Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments at Mojiva, Inc. Prior to BDMI, Mr. Cete worked in Bertelsmann AG's Corporate Controlling and Strategy Department, where he was in charge of group controlling and group strategy. In that capacity he worked on strategic projects in all of Bertelsmann's media categories (television, radio, music, books, magazines and services). Prior to that, he worked and lectured for the Finance Department of the Handelshochschule Leipzig specializing in Corporate Valuation. Mr. Cete serves as a Member of Advisory Board at BLUE LION mobile GmbH. He serves on the Boards of Skimlinks since November 11, 2011; Mojiva, Inc., Qeep and Exit Games. He holds an MBA from Tulane University and graduated from the Handelshochschule Leipzig.


Todd Feldman, Managing Director, Mooreland Partners, New York: Todd joined the firm at its founding in 2003, and was promoted to Managing Director in 2011. Todd is a senior member of the Communications Technology and Digital Media teams. Prior to joining Mooreland Partners, Todd was a consultant for Crossroads LLP, a restructuring firm, where he worked on projects for large telecommunications companies. Prior to joining Crossroads, Todd was Manager of Corporate Finance and Strategy at Telergy, a competitive local exchange carrier based in Syracuse, New York. At Telergy, he helped raise over $200 million in debt and equity capital and completed telecommunications joint ventures with selected utility partners. Todd began his career in the investment banking division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he worked on a wide range of transactions for technology, media and telecommunications companies. Todd holds a BSE degree in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.


Scott Levine is a Managing Director at Time Warner Investments, where he is focused on digital media investment opportunities that have a strategic fit with Time Warner’s operating divisions.   Scott is a board observer of Conviva, Adaptly and Gaia Online, and he actively participated in Time Warner’s investment in Maker Studios.  Scott was previously the SVP of Corporate Development at Sony Music, where he led M&A (including the acquisition of Gracenote), venture investments and digital strategy.  Prior to Sony, he was a Vice President at General Atlantic, a growth equity firm with $17 billion under management.  Scott has also been an operator at three digital media startups, including myYearbook (social network; $100mm sale to QPSA), Liquid Audio (online music retailer; IPO, sold to Wal-Mart) and Verance (audio watermarking).  Scott is a graduate of Stanford University (Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering) and Columbia University (MBA, B.S. in Electrical Engineering).


Mark Boidman is a Managing Director and Partner at Peter J. Solomon Company (PJSC), a private M&A and restructuring advisory and investment banking firm.  In June 2016, PJSC sold a 51% stake in the firm to Natixis, a French financial services firm owned by Groupe BPCE, France’s second largest financial institution. The remaining 49% of PJSC’s ownership continues to be held by existing PJSC partners.  Mark has been recognized as a leading advisor to the media and technology sectors, working with companies across digital media, marketing services, mobile and out of home media.  Mark sits on the Board of Directors of the Digital Signage Federation, the trade association supporting the business interests of the interactive technologies, digital signage and digital out-of-home network industries.  He is also a member of the Advisory Board of Gimbal, a location and proximity-based mobile engagement company.  Mark studied business at McGill's Faculty of Management.  Mark also received joint LL.B and B.C.L degrees from McGill's Faculty of Law and is admitted to practice law in New York and Massachusetts.


Sunny Midha, Houlihan Lokey: Sunny Midha currently works in the New York office of Houlihan Lokey (NYSE: HLI), a global investment bank with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, financial restructuring, valuation, and strategic consulting.  He is an investment banker in the Technology, Media and Telecom Group, which is ranked as the No. 1 M&A advisor for all U.S. technology, media & telecom transactions under $20 billion, by Thomson Reuters.  Sunny covers the following domains: VR/AR, digital media, film & entertainment, (e)sports, frontier technology, music and video gaming. Prior to Houlihan Lokey, Sunny worked at Greycroft Partners, a leading venture capital firm based in Los Angeles and New York, which focuses on investments in the media, internet and mobile markets.  He covered frontier technology including VR/AR and eSports.  With an investment banking, film, VC and technology operating background, Sunny is one of a handful of individuals globally that focuses on the true convergence areas of media and technology.  He has also worked at a range of other financial firms such as Deutsche Bank and successful ecommerce technology start-ups such as and  At, he led the ecommerce division, which sold 500K products in its first year using various influencer-marketing techniques and which were featured in a Harvard Business School case study.  The business won numerous awards for digital marketing such as E-Commerce Strategy of the Year at the Orange National Business Awards as well as being nominated in the Paypal E-Tail Awards & Retail Week E-Commerce Awards. Sunny grew up in the United Kingdom and has a BSc (Hons) Economics degree from the London School of Economics, an MA in Film Producing from the UK’s prestigious National Film & Television School and an MBA from the University of Southern California.  His NFTS graduation film was nominated for the Honorary Foreign Film award at the 2009 Student Academy Awards and he is both a Toledo Scholar (awarded by producer Duncan Kenworthy) and a BAFTA LA Scholar.


David Pucik, Director, Games & Digital Strategy, ‎Frank N. Magid Associates: David is a Consumer Insights Expert and Strategic Consultant in the video game and tech industries, with a background in driving internet media initiatives and marketing. He works closely with game makers to plot best course options and clear actionable steps they can take to align their development goals and messaging with consumer desires and expectations while maintaining the integrity of their creative process. David joined Frank N. Magid Associate’s games insights team in 2011 as a Research Associate and has since worked closely with consumer insights and marketing teams at EA, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Microsoft Games, Turtle Beach, Supercell, GREE, Zynga, and 2K Games. David has been a member of the game industry since 2001, with work experience at Sony Computer Entertainment International, Atari, Large Animal, and Digital Embryo. He is a member of the New Jersey chapter of the IGDA.
