Greg Akselrud, Partner, Stubbs Alderton & Markiles, LLP: He chair's the Firm's Internet, New Media and Entertainment practice group. Greg advises a wide range of public and private clients across a number of industries, including companies in the entertainment, Internet, technology, and apparel industries. Greg's practice involves providing advice in connection with general corporate matters (including company formation, stock incentive plans, executive

Diane McGrath, Managing Director Media and Technology, J Streicher Capital,LLC: Diane McGrath has over 20 years of experience in the business development and investment banking . Her unique balance of intuition and empirical support ability to recognize trends, disruptive technologies and long-term growth potential has led to success in designing revenue models and maximizing returns on investments across industry sectors for companies and customers alike. Her dual background in finance and business development has allowed her to position companies strategically for introduction to new markets and worldwide expansion, especially within the industries of technology, media and entertainment. Ms. McGrath has operated both independently and as part of management teams, generating over $1B for ventures by employing her managerial and technical expertise.  Recognizing and capitalizing on cutting-edge media trends including social networking, gamification, virtual and responsive design, McGrath has molded the business and revenue strategy for global social entertainment platforms,films, entertainment companies integrating new technologies to create sustainable business models for investment.  McGrath served as Director of World Wide Investor Relations for Asia Online, a pan-Asian web services company conducting business in 14 countries and 7 languages. Investors included CIBC, Softbank and CSFirstBoston in IPO filing. McGrath was the “face to Wall Street,” raising $185M for this global company and integrating new business models, clients and strategic partners. During her tenure, the company’s acquisitions and revenue growth led to its one billion dollar valuation ($1B) at the time of the NASDAQ registration filing for IPO.  Prior to 2000, McGrath was an Investment Banker for Aegis Capital Corp in portfolio management and corporate finance, and was Managing Director of The Berkely Fund in New York City. Previously, she worked in brokerage and corporate finance at Faherty&Faherty/Rooney Pace/Bear Stearns, and in international customer banking at Swiss Volksbank in Switzerland.


Jennifer Post, Partner, Thompson Coburn: As a partner in Thompson Coburn's Corporate Practice Group and Chair of its Securities Practice Group, Jennifer Post serves as primary outside counsel to a variety of individuals and companies, including entrepreneurs, startups and investors, as well as domestic and international public companies. Jennifer represents companies and investors in a wide range of corporate transactions, among them mergers and acquisitions, capital raising transactions, debt and equity restructuring and management buyouts. A prolific speaker and media commentator, Jennifer was recently profiled in the California Lawyer’s M&A Roundtable. Additionally, Jennifer has presented at the Harvard Business School W50 Summit, Metropole Global’s Crowdfunding Conference, NextGen’s Entrepreneurship & Global Crowdfunding Forum, Digital Hollywood events, the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the American Bar Association, among others. Prior to joining Raines Feldman, Jennifer was a partner with Edwards Wildman Palmer, an international law firm, and began her career with Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, a leading high tech and venture capital firm in Boston. Jason Scoggins is an entrepreneur and senior executive who has led companies in the entertainment industry as well as the technology space for over 15 years. He is currently President & COO of Slated, Inc., the online entertainment industry marketplace that connects filmmakers, investors and industry executives to projects, talent, financing and sales. The company’s mission is to consolidate the global independent film industry, and Mr. Scoggins’ primary role is to oversee its Film Finance efforts. In the five years prior to joining Slated in late 2014, Mr. Scoggins founded and led a series of entertainment industry data-related start-up companies. The first, ItsontheGrid, Inc., a feature film-related database company, he founded in 2009 and sold to The Wrap News, Inc. in 2011, becoming the company’s Chief Product Officer. After leaving The Wrap in 2012, Mr. Scoggins co-founded Spec Scout, a feature film screenplay analysis and scoring service that has become a key component of Slated’s project scoring system. In mid-2013, Mr. Scoggins joined Baseline, LLC as General Manager of its internal startup company, Signal Entertainment Marketing, LLC, a product placement and brand integration service for advertisers and agencies. Mr. Scoggins got his start in the entertainment business in 1995 as an assistant to the Head of Worldwide Television at ICM. He moved to the The Gersh Agency three years later to become a TV Literary agent, then switched his focus to entrepreneurial pursuits in 2000. A graduate of UCLA, he resides in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.


Steven Masur has over 22 years of experience advising emerging and established businesses on new opportunities and business challenges.
