She has helped to create a level playing field for girls everywhere.  To this day, Daisy Rock Girl Guitars is still the ONLY Girl Guitar Company in the WORLD!!  A seasoned artist performing in Los Angeles since the 80’s, Tish continues to perform with her band and plays backup for the American version of Gene Loves Jezebel and several other bands of international acclaim.  Tish loves to bring the funny to Flappers, in her home town of Burbank, when she isn't on the road. Ciravolo created her own dream career and is now on a mission to empower everyone to find their passion, one girl at a time!


Laura B. Whitmore, Founder, The Women’s International Music Network: Music Industry veteran Laura B. Whitmore owns and runs Mad Sun Marketing, a boutique agency that specializes in marketing, PR, artist relations, event production, graphic design, and more for music and audio companies. Prior to launching Mad Sun, Whitmore spent two decades as the marketing manager for Korg USA, handling all marketing for the Korg, Marshall and VOX brands in the U.S. She started her career in the Direct Marketing department of CBS Records. A singer-songwriter and performer herself, Whitmore is the founder of the Women’s International Music Network (, an organization that advocates for women in the music industry.  She is also the co-creator and producer of Backstory Events, a live-streamed interview series, and hosts and moderates workshops, panels and showcases at industries and festivals, including NAMM, SXSW, ASCAP Expo and more. Laura Nickerson hosts, writes, produces, shoots and edits video content for America's Funniest Home Videos Kyoot Kids platform,, ModernMom, The MomBuster, the television show "The Buzz" for CTV, and hosts station breaks for KCET. Her radio and television show "Broad Topics" ran for 5 years and she was a traffic reporter for Clear Channel stations KFI and KTLK, in which her reports always sounded like this: "Traffic in LA is bad, really bad. Try learning to skateboard, or fly. You'll get there faster on this...Sunday morning..." Of all of the things she has done, trying to get two kids to agree on what TV show to watch has been the most difficult. De Ivett, CEO + Biz Dev,  5D Spectrum: With over 25 years in advertising, graphic design, interactive media, software development and programming, De brings her creative and technical talents to lead the 5D Spectrum team. De is a first place winner of the Los Angeles Advertising Women Achievement Award for interactive communications. As founder of 5D Spectrum, De has worked with many brands including Red Bull, Kodak, Intel, American Express, Microsoft, USHE, Sony, Live Nation and Daisy Rock Girl Guitars to name a few. De is a published curriculum writer for the sate of CA and currently teaches ‘Web Design’ to high school students through the CTE program. De is a Board Member for Ovation Music Fund, providing music scholarships to children attending 350+ music schools nationwide. As an arts education advocate by day and bass player by night, De is dedicated to helping children receive quality music & arts education through in-school and after school enrichment programs.


Janet Billig Rich, started her journey in the world of musical entertainment in the rock clubs of NYC. Along the way she has worked as an artist manager, record company executive, music supervisor and theater producer. Initially at Caroline Records, first as a publicist and then segued into A&R working with artists including the Smashing Pumpkins, Hole and White Zombie. She made the move to artist management partnering with Gold Mountain Entertainment where she was at ground zero of the tidal wave of alternative music in the 90’s managing all her favorite bands. The Lemonheads, Hole, Nirvana, The Breeders, Walt Mink, Lisa Loeb and Dinosaur Jr. After a brief detour to Atlantic Records, where she was one of the youngest senior executives, she launched Manage This! and has never looked back....She have partnered with amazing folks along the way and co-produced unscripted television for the E! Network, a multi-year groundbreaking Bluegrass tour based on the music from the film O Brother, Where Art Thou?, a documentary on the reunion tour of the seminal band The Pixies entitled loudQUIETloud and a number theater projects involving a wide range of musical styles. Among some of most recent projects are the Tony-nominated Broadway musical Rock Of Ages, the kids-themed musical Camp Kappawanna and the musical theater/cabaret hybrid show For The Record: The Series. Additionally, other ventures include The Lisa Loeb Eyewear Collection with Lisa Loeb now featured at Costco, music supervision & clearance of numerous independent, documentary films (I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead and Step) and national TV commercials for brands such as The North Face and Muscle Milk. She seriously is the girl with the most cake.


Kat Corbett is a DJ on KROQ in Los Angeles where she hosts the midday show 10-2p and the local music show which has helped launched the careers of Silversun Pickups, Fitz And The Tantrums, Grouplove, AWOLNATION, Young the Giant, Local Natives, The Dirty Heads, Saint Motel, and more. She began her radio career in Boston at WFNX while simultaneously working for legendary concert promoter Don Law. In 1998 Kat moved to Los Angeles and joined the morning show on Y107 hosted by Chris Hardwick and Courtland Cox. When the station dissolved she moved over to KROQ where she has wracked up hundreds of artist interviews and thousands concerts. In late 2016, Kat signed on to host shows on SiriusXm’s Lithium. In 2013 she released her first short story on Amazon titled It’s Personal. Based in the gritty streets of sixties East Boston where she grew up, It’s Personal reflects the life of a former leg-breaker now a senior citizen with Parkinsons. Her debut novel is scheduled for a late 2017 release. A professional copywriter, Kat’s has written for such clients as Mercedes Benz and Itunes. She began writing professionally with her column of observation pieces for Napster and Web In Front. Kat’s voiceover work includes clients such as FIFA Women’s World Cup, Lifetime, Wheat Thins, Mercedes Benz, and Souplantation. Kat has worked on many independent films in various positions from Producer and Sound Mixer to Music Supervisor. Kat lives in Los Angeles with her rescue bulldog and rescue Chihuahua.


Leslie Frank is a partner of King, Holmes, Paterno & Soriano. She represents entertainment industry clients that include recording artists, songwriters, record producers, record labels, online music services, screenwriters, playwrights, actors, music supervisors, radio DJs and celebrity endorsers. She negotiates contracts of all kinds and has studied and debated copyright policy issues and business models in the digital arena since the Metallica v. Napster lawsuit in 2000, for which she was a member of the plaintiff’s legal team. Ms. Frank has negotiated contracts and settled disputes on behalf of clients that include: Metallica, Dr. Dre, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Skrillex, Zedd, Steve Aoki, Blink-182, The Offspring, Helen Fielding (author of Bridget Jones’ Diary). Ms. Frank has had articles published in the UC Davis School of Law Business Law Journal and American Music Press (San Francisco). She also participates in symposia, seminar panels and speaking engagements regarding copyright law and entertainment transaction issues, including appearances at the UC Davis School of Law, South by Southwest, CMJ Music Marathon and ASCAP Expo.
