Barry Loudis is senior director of business development & digital distribution for Turner Content Distribution (TCD), the domestic distribution, sales and marketing arm of Turner. In this capacity, Loudis is responsible for the expansion and creation of external platform partnerships for Turner’s portfolio

of brands including TNT, TBS, Turner Classic Movies (TCM), CNN, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. He identifies new business and revenue opportunities among Turner’s growing list of digital partners and helps to set the monetization strategy as well as works with the network digital teams on seamless execution. Additionally, Loudis works on internal brand development for TV Everywhere and Direct-to-Consumer and EST/VOD offerings. Loudis also oversees business development for Turner Private Networks (TPN), Turner's out-of-home content business.

 

Joerg Bachmaier, SVP, Content Strategy and Co-Productions, Machinima: Joerg Bachmaier is an International Television and Digital Media Executive with an extensive track record in financing, producing and distributing TV Shows, Digital Video and other entertainment content across multiple platforms around the world. This includes 360° franchise development, Gamification, immersive Storytelling, VR/ AR experiences and Social Media. As SVP, CONTENT STRATEGY AND CO-PRODUCTIONS he currently leads and directs the programming and content strategies for Machinima's multi-platform programming services. He is driving acquisitions, co-productions and IP rights deals (e.g. “Transformers”, “Street Fighter” or “Knight Rider”), including closing strategic partnerships with studios, producers, game publishers and other major media companies  that enhance Machinima’s original content development and distribution initiatives. Previously, as EVP International Production he oversaw BBC Worldwide's global production network, formats business, original development and content acquisitions across all platforms (TV and Digital) including: “Dancing with the Stars”, “Bake Off“, "BBC Earth", "The Office” and “Top Gear”. Before joining the BBC in London, Joerg worked for companies such as Endemol USA in Los Angeles or CNN International/TBS and ZDF in Germany.

 

Scott L Brown, SVP Global Engineering & Strategic Relations, The Nielsen Company: Scott L. Brown serves as Senior Vice President, Global Communications, Client Insights & Strategic Relations for Nielsen. In this role, Scott is a frequent speaker and sought after visionary for impending changes to the media landscape, the impact of new technology, and for the path of new advertising models. Scott is responsible for client insights and communications, strategic business relationships, and works with media strategy and digital platform development for the company. Scott focuses much of his time on establishing and managing business relationships with advanced technology and new media companies. He is the key company spokesperson for evolving television technologies, advanced metering systems, and new technology development. Scott provides the internal and external company vision and leadership for the new world of digital convergence, connected TV technology, and multi platform measurement, etc. Scott, is a veteran of Nielsen, with roots going back to Advanced Software Systems Design, progressing into Senior Operations Management, and then into his current position with Nielsen. Scott's expertise is grounded in technology, the implications for Nielsen measurement, coupled with a deep client following on what is relevant in the media world. Scott is frequently asked to forecast the future for major advertisers, and media companies. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters Degree from Illinois State University.

 

Adam Cunningham began his career as a Hollywood talent manager, working with  A-list talent just as digital industries began challenging traditional business models and content monetization. Seeing this, he started consulting for numerous entertainment entities and creating a number of IP solutions to these problems. This led to him founding the agency 87AM, a full-service digital agency focused on the entertainment, arts and culture industries. 87AM became part of the Allied Integrated Marketing family in 2011. As Founder and President of 87AM, Adam oversees all digital activities across the agency’s 24 offices. 87AM works with many of the globe’s iconic brands, including STARZ, The Walt Disney Company, Showtime, ABC, Paramount, Universal, The Venetian, The Palazzo, Palms Casino Resort, Blue Man Group, Wolfgang Puck Worldwide, and many more. Adam divides his time between Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas and Maine, and is an active Paley Center Media Council member, James Beard member, board member of various cultural institutions, and all around fan of golden retrievers, Emerson, plaid and bourbon.

 

Robb Miller, Global Senior Director, Media & Entertainment, Swrve: Robb has 20 years of experience in enterprise software sales and management, mostly in media and entertainment-related video streaming, mobile marketing and user generated content technologies. Robb has helped companies raise venture capital and assisted in the acquisition of five startups (most recently at Livefyre) and the IPO of a sixth, specializing in establishing and running global sales teams, working in over two dozen foreign territories. Robb has an MFA from the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

 

Ron Bloom, co-founder, ReachMe.TV: Ron Bloom is the visionary media and technology entrepreneur and co-founder of ReachMeTV, the new global entertainment network that connects the screens you pass every day with the screen in the palm of your hand. Bloom was the architect of the Company’s distribution platform, production studio and delivery systems and presides over the ReachMeTV's growing lineup of original content, production and programming. Under the leadership of co-founders Lynnwood Bibbens and Bloom, ReachmeTV is bringing together programming from multiple networks and top producers, content produced in ReachMeTV Studios, as well as landmark distribution deals and business partnerships that have driven ReachMeTV's reach to over 1.4 billion viewers per year in the US alone. Prior to ReachMe.TV, Ron Bloom was the founder and CEO of BiteSizeTV, where he designed and built the first vertically integrated digital/television studio on the ground floor of the W Hotel on the corner of Hollywood and Vine. He developed the company’s unique content platform and produced a broad range of “digital for television” programming. Additionally, Bloom was the creator and Executive Producer of over 40 digital shows, including Hollywood Today Live, the first “born digital” show to become a daily one-hour show on a major television network. HTL debuted in the summer of 2014 and was picked up by FOXTV for its second season in 2015. In 2014 Mr. Bloom architected a transaction, selling the company to Lin Media which itself merged with Media General (NYSE: MEG), a multi-billion dollar public company. Bloom has always been at the center of media and technology, co-founding one of the first internet media companies, Think New Ideas, in 1994 and taking it public in1996, building it to one of the largest in its sector, with over 1,000 employees and a who’s who list of brand clients before selling it in 1999. At Think he pioneered the digital entertainment space with the first live “cybercast” of the Grammy Awards in 1995. After selling Think, he has gone on to successfully build multiple companies and brands across the new media space, in the process working with some of the largest consumer and entertainment brands ranging from Anheuser Busch to IBM, helping them develop internet strategies and build global products.  In 2005, with partner Adam Curry, Bloom founded PodShow, the first company to commercially develop what has since become known as Podcasting.  With its landmark deals with Sirius Satellite Radio and iTunes, PodShow paved the way for podcasting’s emergence as a valid alternative to traditional entertainment networks. Bloom continues to invest in new technologies, produce programming and advise other companies on opportunities around the convergence of media and technology. He is an accomplished musician and songwriter, continuing to perform and write, composing and performing the theme and soundtrack music for Hollywood Today Live and performing with a range of artists such as DJ Poet, Wayne Newton and Dave Stewart.

 

Danny Ledger, Principal and US leader, Digital Offerings, Deloitte Consulting LLP: Danny is a Principal and US leader for Digital Offerings within Deloitte Consulting LLP serving the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications industry. He is a key architect and thought leader on digital marketing, digital content solutions, and digital advertising. As part of the Deloitte Digital team, Danny’s primary focus is helping clients achieve growth objectives by reaching and engaging customers across digital touch points. He also serves as the global leader of Deloitte’s MarketMix for Media solution offering. MarketMix for Media is an over-the-top platform to help Media and Entertainment companies launch, monetize, and manage direct-to-consumer content offerings. Prior to joining Deloitte Consulting LLP, Danny was the Director of Technology for Fox Networks Group. In this role, he drove cost efficiencies through the standardization of video distribution platforms for FOX owned and operated cable networks, including the Big Ten Network, Speed Chanel, and Fox Regional Sports Networks (RSNs). Danny earned his Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Southern California, and his undergraduate Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University.
