Christina Heller is the CEO and Co-Founder of VR Playhouse, a creative studio and full service virtual reality production company.  VRP's interactive 360/CGI narrative, "The Surrogate," was nominated for the Innovation Award at SXSW 2016, and was one of 15 projects produced by the company in 2015. She is on the board of Directors for SH//FT, a VR non-profit devoted to promoting diversity in virtual reality. Christina started at 88.9FM Boston, producing and hosting a weekly politics show which won Associated Press Awards for the two

years under her leadership. She moved to television by producing, shooting, and hosting "My Voice"​, another politics program broadcast into 9 million homes. She covered the 2008 presidential election for both MyTV New England and Al Gore's Current TV, and was featured on Good Morning America as a commentator on the Millennial impact on politics. She directed and produced two feature documentaries, Libertopia and Reversing the Mississippi. Libertopia was featured on FOX Business, Huffington Post, and NHPR. Reversing The Mississippi premiered PBS's "America Reframed" in April 2016. VR Playhouse was founded in July 2014.

 

Allison Huynh is the Founder and CEO of MyDream Interactive, Inc. Headquartered in Palo Alto, CA, MyDream Interactive is a pioneering development studio in virtual reality and virtual worlds.  Allison studied Symbolic Systems and Computer Science at Stanford University. She incubated secretbuilders.com, one of the first kid’s virtual world, at Willow Garage. With more than 1MM users, secretbuilders.com was successful in helping kids develop a passion for literature. As an early VR software designer, Allison launch MyDream the game, a 3D virtual world, which received an award for Game Design, at GDC (Game Developer’s Conference) for a being a collaborative and creative sandbox that rewarded users for prosocial skills. This year MyDream Interactive launched VR Toolbox, the only software in the market that allows users to bring any existing computer screen into 360 VR, and Candy Squad, one of this first fun, family friendly games geared for the VR mobile market. Last year, Allison co-authored and filed a Blended Reality Patent, which brings in a live camera feed from a webcam or pass-through camera and blends it into the VR world.

 

Rachel Skidmore is the Director of Media Development and Production at Skybound Entertainment where she serves as an Executive Producer of high quality web content and other non-traditional/new media projects. At Skybound, Skidmore recently co-developed and Executive produced the most popular series of YouTube Red’s first programming slate, “Scare Pewdiepie,” with Robert Kirkman and David Alpert, starring Felix Kjellberg (aka PewDiePie). Additionally, Skidmore was the Executive Producer on the first-ever scripted virtual reality series for Samsung’s MilkVR platform entitled “Gone.” Her other producing credits at the company include Gary Whitta’s “Nerd Court” and “Superfight,” a web series based on Skybound’s hit party card game of the same name. Prior to serving as the founder of the Media Development and Production Department at Skybound Entertainment, Skidmore was a talent manager and producer at Big Frame where she worked with top YouTube creators and emerging digital talent. Skidmore has worked in various facets of production including commercials, documentary television, music videos and features; specializing in delivery high quality content on a low budget. She holds a B.S. in Electronic Arts from Missouri State University and an M.F.A. in Film and Television Producing from Chapman University.

 

Ryan Pulliam is the co-founder and CMO of Specular Theory, an award-winning immersive media and entertainment company based in Venice Beach, CA that creates premium virtual reality content and experiences using innovative storytelling and proprietary technology. Ryan brings extensive agency and client-side experience in digital marketing and brand strategy. As a next-generation thought leader on digital media strategy and a gatekeeper to large networks in the entertainment, technology and new media sectors, Pulliam is consistently creating opportunities for long-term growth and value from customers, markets and relationships. Pulliam is a published expert in the Seven Pearls of Financial Wisdom, which was named Top Business Book in 2012 by The Library Journal. She is a frequent guest speaker on a number of industry panels including Further Future, TEDx, Singularity University and CES. She is also a member of The Women’s CLUB of Silicon Valley, MaiTai Global and Summit Series. Specular Theory has won numerous awards for its virtual reality and 360 work, including the 2016 Streamy Award Winner for Best VR and 360 Experience for MatPat’s Game Lab in 360 series. The studio has also created the most talked about pieces at the 2015 and 2016 Sundance Film Festivals for their “Perspective VR” original series that ignited a global conversation around empathy and using VR for Good.

 

Jenni Ogden, President & Executive Producer - Eye Q Productions, LLC: An award-winning creative producer with over a decade of experience in production, and nearly 20 years in entertainment.  Jenni is a Board Member & Secretary of the Producers Guild of America (PGA) New Media Council, active member Women In Film (WIF) and Themed Entertainment Association (TEA). Her recent work includes immersive visual design, animation & projection mapping for live theatre for “Twice Charmed” aboard the Disney Magic, “The Golden Mickey’s” aboard the Disney Wonder, and Disney “Dreams” aboard the Disney Magic and projection design & animation for Disney’s “Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular” winner of Live Design’s 2013 Excellence award for theater, Universal’s “Uni 360” featuring large scale projection mapping as well as full dome experiences for Constantine at Comicon 2014 and the Battiest Brothers “The Storm” for ‘In The Round’ at Art Basel in Miami. She is currently producing & developing shows for 360 immersive theatre & experiences, an Immersive cinema/live theatre experience, and exploring narrative & cinematic VR.  Jenni’s passion is for producing work that is relevant as well as entertaining; cultural storytelling, diversity, socio-ethical issues, and new & emerging technologies.

 

Kymber Lim, CCO + Head of Studio, Holor: As an award-winning VFX producer and consultant, Kymber Lim has been developing relationships with content creators and brands in entertainment for the past two decades. Along with having run two successful visual effects facilities at Psyop and Digital Domain as an expert in 70mm stereoscopic IMAX 3D, Lim is also an accomplished consultant to the Korean media community and served as lead VFX consultant on renowned director Bong Joon-ho’s The Host. She co-founded Holor (pka Cryworks) in 2015, where she contributes expertise in business development, Hollywood/Asia relations and VR production as CCO and Head of Studio. In addition to creating content for global brands, Holor is helping to shape the way people interact and share 360/VR experiences. Recently, Holor Studios gained unprecedented behind-the-scenes access on the set of Transformers 5 with director Michael Bay to capture world-first VR footage.

 

Louisa Spring, a native of Great Britain, founded Spring Alliance in 2002 and is a business strategy and creative development consultant for international VR/AR/MR media companies. She is passionate about Immersive convergence and has held Business Development positions at Prologue Immersive, Innerspace VR and Bipolar ID. She has moved the needle at each VR company with whom she has been affiliated. Louisa started her Immersive journey with Harbottle and Lewis who are UK media lawyers. As an award-winning producer, talent manager and entrepreneur, Ms. Spring has produced African Gothic, Sea Of Darkness, Woundings, Blood Equity. She collaborated as a television producer with Far Moor, (The Fall, Netflix), Barry Films, (Life) and Arise Pictures, (Nomis), James Spring (Colonia—Toronto International Film Festival 2016). She has sold TV projects to major networks and was at Far Moor when they were acquired by Endemol. Her background and contacts are now invaluable in the Immersive space. She has represented some of the U.K.’s most iconic and beloved actors such as John Rhys-Davies (Lord Of The Rings, Indiana Jones), Roger Moore (James Bond, The Saint), Steven Berkoff (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Borgias), William J. Macdonald (the creator and executive producer of HBO’s award- winning series ROME). Ms. Spring speaks French fluently and travels widely particularly to Europe and Asia. She's a former member of the board of BAFTALA, and practiced law in London for 3 years.
