Jason Henderson is the Senior Manager, Contracts, Video Entertainment and Marketing, for Dish Network, focusing on consumer applications to transform interactive television. Previously he ran the iTV Apps platform for Verizon FiOS TV, with responsibility for new Gaming, Music, and TV Everywhere projects. His popular podcast “Castle of Horror” features interviews and discussion panels of

best-selling writers and artists from all genres. Alex Van Helsing, his popular young adult series from HarperCollins, was named by the Texas Library Association to the 2011 Lone Star Reading List, a list of the top 20 new books for young readers. He also writes for games and comics. Henderson earned his BA from University of Dallas in 1993 and his JD from Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C., in 1996. Henderson lives in Colorado with his wife and two daughters.


Scott L Brown, SVP Global Engineering & Strategic Relations, The Nielsen Company: Scott L. Brown serves as Senior Vice President, Global Communications, Client Insights & Strategic Relations for Nielsen. In this role, Scott is a frequent speaker and sought after visionary for impending changes to the media landscape, the impact of new technology, and for the path of new advertising models. Scott is responsible for client insights and communications, strategic business relationships, and works with media strategy and digital platform development for the company. Scott focuses much of his time on establishing and managing business relationships with advanced technology and new media companies. He is the key company spokesperson for evolving television technologies, advanced metering systems, and new technology development. Scott provides the internal and external company vision and leadership for the new world of digital convergence, connected TV technology, and multi platform measurement, etc. Scott, is a veteran of Nielsen, with roots going back to Advanced Software Systems Design, progressing into Senior Operations Management, and then into his current position with Nielsen. Scott's expertise is grounded in technology, the implications for Nielsen measurement, coupled with a deep client following on what is relevant in the media world. Scott is frequently asked to forecast the future for major advertisers, and media companies. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters Degree from Illinois State University.


Joe Friend, Vice President, Ad Technology Systems, Fox Broadcasting Company: Digital Advertising executive with a background in digital, broadcast, media & entertainment, publishing, advertising, medical, pharmaceutical and information systems. Joe is the Vice President of Advertising Technology Solutions at Fox Networks Group. Joe’s experience is managing ad systems, workflows, and the departments responsible to those revenue streams. Joe has the depth and breadth of relevant experience to succeed in any field where plans need to be made, communicated, and managed. Additionally, Joe is an award-winning and optioned screenwriter. Prior to joining the "ad world" in 2006, Joe worked his way through the IT maze doing jobs like help desk, systems management, website programming and management. Before he settled into “online", Joe was (in order of appearance): a landscaper, a clerk, an EMT, a pizza deliveryman, a car detailer, a roofer, a First Mate, a retail & pharmacy manager, a medical records tech, a VPN specialist, and a network engineer.


Barry Loudis is senior director of business development & digital distribution for Turner Content Distribution (TCD), the domestic distribution, sales and marketing arm of Turner. In this capacity, Loudis is responsible for the expansion and creation of external platform partnerships for Turner’s portfolio of brands including TNT, TBS, Turner Classic Movies (TCM), CNN, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. He identifies new business and revenue opportunities among Turner’s growing list of digital partners and helps to set the monetization strategy as well as works with the network digital teams on seamless execution. Additionally, Loudis works on internal brand development for TV Everywhere and Direct-to-Consumer and EST/VOD offerings. Loudis also oversees business development for Turner Private Networks (TPN), Turner's out-of-home content business.


Andrew Schneider, Chief Digital Officer, Tenga: Andrew Schneider is an inquisitive and inspired digital executive who continually seeks to engage innovation at the cross-roads of technology and entertainment. His 20+ year career has been focused on developing ecosystems for new technologies, pioneering new digital business models and innovating consumer experiences. Schneider helped shape the way entertainment companies leverage the internet for marketing, content distribution and revenue generation while leading NBC Interactive, Sony Pictures Digital and Wind-up Records. Later, Schneider was instrumental in initiating new digital business models in the video game industry for Microsoft, Sony, Samsung, Facebook, Electronic Arts and Yahoo! while managing Live Gamer. Schneider currently serves as Chief Digital Officer for TEGNA, the largest independent broadcaster in the US, where he is responsible for delivering relevant, innovative and impactful digital content to nearly 90 million adults nationwide. Schneider’s unique experience across entertainment and payments/e-commerce coupled with an extensive international network of C-Level relationships, investors, peers and collaborators has allowed him to help some of the world’s leading companies accelerate digital businesses to the delight of millions of consumers.


JD Tengberg is a Principal in Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics practice with expertise in the media and entertainment industries. He has over 25 years of experience.  Mr. Tengberg has performed financial advisory and valuation work for a myriad of different purposes including: transaction and investment-related issues, shareholder value and strategic analyses, tax-related issues, financing, bankruptcy, litigation, business plan development, and financial reporting. JD has valued entire companies in many industries including film, television radio, broadcast and cable networks, digital media, interactive gaming, concert promotion and venue management, and motion picture exhibition.  He has also valued and analyzed myriad types of entertainment assets. JD has spoken to this experience a number of times at both Digital Hollywood and the International Film and Television Finance Summit. He has an MBA from UCLA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Brigham Young University.
