Sophia Dilley, Vice President, Development and Production – Route One Entertainment: Sophia Dilley, Vice President Development and Production, Route One: Sophia Dilley is the Vice President of Development and Production for Film and Digital Media at Route One. Ms. Dilley grew up on film sets (her father is an award-winning and management side of filmmaking. Her career began in 2007,

at Film 44, where she worked for Director Peter Berg on the films Hancock and Battleship. In 2010, Ms. Dilley joined the team at Route One and helped oversee A Walk in the Woods and Equals. In 2014, Ms. Dilley joined Not Impossible Labs and The Ebeling Group as a Producer and Head of Production. Ms. Dilley was tasked with producing commercials and documentaries illustrating the application of original, high tech solutions to serious real world problems. Ms. Dilley’s first short form content debut, “Don’s Voice,” attained over 1 million views in 2 weeks and 1 billion media impressions; won three Telly Awards and three One Show Pencils; and was shortlisted for the AICP awards. She also accepted the SXSW Innovative 3-DIY Interactive Award for “Project Daniel” along with Mick Ebeling and Elliot Kotek. In May 2015, Ms. Dilley returned to Route One Entertainment, where she now focuses on evaluating film, TV and digital interactive opportunities. Since her return she has co-produced Tallulah, Colossal, and Landline and oversees the development of a diverse slate of upcoming projects including the recently announced The Claim written by Academy Award winner Damien Chazelle.  Ms. Dilley has two Bachelor’s degrees from Loyola Marymount University, one in Film Production and another in Political Science. She also has a Master’s degree in Project Management specializing in International Marketing and Film from Boston University.

 

Laverne McKinnon is Head of Television for Charlize Theron’s Denver & Delilah Films, where she is also Executive Producer of the Netflix series GIRLBOSS, premiering in 2017. She has over 20 years of successful programming experience in premium cable, broadcast network and digital platforms including Senior Vice-President of Drama at CBS and Executive Vice-President of Original Programming at EPIX. Her work has encompassed scripted comedy and drama series, documentaries, web series, animation, music events, comedy specials and children’s programs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Radio-TV-Film from Northwestern University and a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. Ms. McKinnon is also an Adjunct Lecturer for Northwestern University’s MS Leadership in Creative Enterprises program and holds certifications as an executive & life coach and as a grief counselor.

 

Alicia Malone is a film reporter, film critic, TV host, writer, and all around movie geek. She first gained notice hosting movie-centric shows and reviewing films on all of the major network TV channels in her native Australia, before making the big leap to LA in 2011. Since then, Alicia has appeared as a film expert on CNN, Access Hollywood, E!, Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, MTV, Hollywood Today Live, MSNBC, HLN, KCBS, KTLA, AMC Theaters and more. Currently she is a host on FilmStruck, a cinephile

subscription service run by Turner Classic Movies and the Criterion Collection, and she is also the creator and host of Fandango’s Indie Movie Guide. Alicia is passionate about classic films, independent movies and supporting women in film. In September 2015, she gave a TEDx talk on the lack of women in movies and why that needs to change. Because of her passion for supporting women, she was also named one of the 100 #WorthyWomen of 2016. She is currently writing her first book on the history of women in Hollywood, out in August 2017. Alicia’s traveled the world to cover the BAFTAs, the Oscars, the Cannes Film Festival, Toronto Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival and Comic-Con, is a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association, and has interviewed nearly every movie star you could name, hugging many, including Oprah. Hey, she’s only human.

 

Jaime Burke is the Co-Founder and President of Lifeboat Productions, a full-service production company that develops unique, high-quality and narrative-driven content - from conception to project completion - independent of budget or platform.  Prior to Lifeboat Productions, Burke produced the feature films, The Pact (IFC), Unrest (Freestyle/Lionsgate), Everybody Wants To Be Italian (Roadside Attractions/Lionsgate), as well as thrillers Murder In The Dark and Deep Burial. Previously, Burke was also produced projects for Michael Eisner’s digital studio, Vuguru, including, Nuclear Family (SyFy), The Millionaire Tour (Sky), Crawlspace (Content Media), and The Booth At The End 2 (Hulu). Since launching Lifeboat Productions in 2012, Burke, along with co-founder Amy Kim, has worked on film, television, interactive and commercial projects including Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser, Half Life, The Pact, Teachers, Chosen, Sequestered, Quantum Break, UBISOFT Watch Dogs, Audi and #CokeRED while collaborating with companies such as Sony Crackle, Netflix, Fullscreen, Microsoft, Hulu, Viacom, Yahoo!, YouTube, Happy Madison, Nickelodeon and Bad Hat Harry, to name a few.

 

RACHEL FELDMAN is a director and writer.  Her feature film about Fair Pay activist Lilly Ledbetter, FAIR FIGHT, is being produced by Double Nickel Entertainment whose “The Book Of Henry”, directed by Colin Tevorrow, starring Naomi Watts, will open this June.  Ms. Feldman just sold her pilot script KINKS to eOne Television and Pillar Segan Productions.  She was an honoree in the 2017 WGA Writer’s Access Program and the 2016 recipient of the NYWIFT Ravenal Grant for women directors. Feldman has directed over 60 hours of episodic and long form television and written features for Freeform, Life Television, The SYFY Channel, and Electric Entertainment. Feldman holds an MFA from NYU in directing, a BA from Sarah Lawrence College.  She has taught directing and screenwriting in the MFA programs at USC School of Visual Arts and Loyola Marymount.  Feldman was a recent co chair of the DGA Women’s Steering Committee and is a vocal activist for women directors in Hollywood. Denise Muyco, Co-Founder and CEO, StratusCore: Denise Muyco is co-founder and CEO of StratusCore, a content production technology company that is moving digital content production into the cloud. Denise has nearly 20 years of experience in the film industry as a serial entrepreneur. She founded StratusCore in 2011 to enable artists and content producers to take advantage of emerging cloud technology to streamline the content creation process and make it more cost effective for artists and studios alike. Previously, Denise founded OneView Technologies (acquired by HP Enterprise) which offered software to manage rights for films played on airplanes, cable networks and on-demand hotel services. In the late '90's she was the head of product management for AtomFilms (acquired by Viacom) where she helped produce some of the first internet-exclusive films and animations. Denise has a Bachelor of Arts in political economics, as well as a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington. Denise is a Board Member of the Motion Picture Production Industry Association and collaborates directly with industry guilds and associations.
