Dr. Armin T. Ellis, Founder, Exploration Institute, Inventor of i2i Method™: Accomplished scientist, engineer, and explorer, Dr. Armin Ellis spearheaded and architected missions at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for eight years ranging from Mars missions to those bound for the International Space Station. Parlaying all of his vast and innovative experiences, wisdom, and passion, Dr. Ellis has created Exploration Institute, featuring his i2i Method™, a proven methodology to turn challenges and aspirations into actionable and tangible plans. The results of this methodology and process are limitless providing

companies, non-profits and global leaders with uniquely efficient results with applications ranging from cost management and mitigation, product development, and strategy planning. A Ph.D. graduate of Dartmouth College, Dr. Ellis has created several entrepreneurial ventures in both the US and his native UK including a space engineering company, Astropioneer (which he started at age 22 and was acquired after 3 years), VentureKits (a non-profit organization with high altitude balloon kits to help inspire high school students with the possibilities of science), and ultimately today, Exploration Institute.


Sascha Paladino, Emmy Nominated, Creator/Executive Producer, Miles from Tomorrowland: Emmy-nominated writer and producer Sascha Paladino is the creator and executive producer of Disney Junior's "Miles from Tomorrowland," an intergalactic animated series that follows the outer space voyages of young adventurer Miles and his family as they help connect the universe on behalf of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. An accomplished children's television writer, Paladino was most recently story editor and consulting producer on Disney Junior's "Henry Hugglemonster." Paladino developed and served as head writer and producer for Nickelodeon's "Ni Hao, Kai-lan." His additional writing credits include Disney Junior's acclaimed "Doc McStuffins," "Team Umizoomi," "Wonder Pets," "Winx Club," "Tickety Toc," "Blue's Clues" and "Sid the Science Kid." Paladino also wrote the theme song lyrics for "Henry Hugglemonster" and "Ni Hao, Kai-lan," among many songs for other series. Paladino has also worked on a number of arts education projects, including teaching Shakespeare and acting in public schools and prisons. An award-winning film director, his most recent documentary feature, "Throw Down Your Heart," about American banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck, won the Audience Award at the South by Southwest Film Festival, Best Music Documentary at AFI Docs and the Audience Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival. In addition, Paladino has created a variety of documentary shorts that have garnered accolades at Woodstock Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival and Mill Valley Film Festival. A New York City native, Paladino is a graduate of The High School of Performing Arts (aka the "Fame" school) and Wesleyan University. He recently spent two years living and working in Ireland, and currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, author Erin Torneo, and their five-year-old twin boys.


Daniel Faber, Pioneer of Space Technologies and Mining: Pioneer of Asteroid Mining and Space Entertainment, Daniel Faber has leveraged his experience as an entrepreneur, explorer, and engineer to draw together amazing teams from diverse fields to launch new businesses and new industries. As the former CEO of asteroid mining company Deep Space Industries, Mr. Faber built a fast-growing technology business, aggressively advancing a vision of delivering resources from asteroids to the in-space economy. Under his leadership the company built a globally recognized brand, changed global perceptions and international law around space resources, released its first engineering products to industry acclaim, grew sales from zero to nearly $10 million, and positioned Deep Space Industries to systematically create and commercialize all the technology needed for asteroid mining. As a serial entrepreneur in the aerospace and mining industries prior to DSI, Mr. Faber has grown high-tech companies on four continents from startup through to commercial success. He is the recipient of multiple innovation awards and filed several patents in the fields of mining, medical imaging, and aerospace. Mr. Faber is currently engaged with companies in entertainment, financing and M&A, telecommunications, earth imagery, asteroid mining, and orbiting power utilities. Mr. Faber holds a degree in engineering from the University of New South Wales and a Postgraduate Certificate in Antarctic Studies from the University of Canterbury. He has served as a director and officer in several international non-governmental organizations.


Dr. John S. Panek, Aerospace Engineer:  Mission Systems Engineer at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center, has participated in the concept design, formulation, and implementation of over 60 instruments and missions in 17 years at multiple NASA centers.  Previous work has been in cryogenics ranging from the industrial scale at Fermilab and the National High Magnetic Field Laboratories, to smaller scales at JPL’s Low Temperature Microgravity Physics Lab, to being a part the NASA XRS-2 team setting a low temperature record in space.  More recent systems engineering work has been in the Satellite Servicing Projects Division/Advanced Concepts and Technology Development Office, Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, Commercial Crew Program Office, Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, and Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope.  Dr. Panek has degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois and Florida State University.  In his spare time, he restores old cars, runs iron-distance triathlons, raises two teenagers, and visits the MIT Science Fiction Society’s library as much as possible.
